Organizing is

Not just smoke and mirrors and

Public image tho.
And hierarchy does

Not look good on anyone.

Grasping at power.
Do the work. Show up.

Then you won’t have to make false

Claims of importance.

Those chickens, almost

To their slaughter house, freezing

Suffering, abused

Post-protest self care

Hey y’all

If you saw the person get killed today, or witnessed violence, or suffered violence, chances are high you have been traumatized.

You may not make the best choices in this state. You may need to do your self care. You may need to step back.

Damage from this sort of shit is real but it doesn’t have to totally rule you. Your mental health is important. Slow down to take care.

If you feel totally frantic, urgent, adamant, you may really be the one who needs a time out for self care. Ask for help if you need it.

White supremacists

Coming to town. Effective

Strategy unclear
Hyperbole hurts

The movement against the right

Can we be calm or?
Identify the

Threat, the issue, the problem

Then act to combat.
All supremacy

Increases delusions and

Suffering. It’s wack.
Maybe our side would

Do better to build our own

Communities up
Anti everything

Or only active against

Is not so useful
It is good to be

Outraged, but that fear may not

Be the best start place.
Find some love within

And act from there to build up

And speak out as well

Welcome

Here you will find my daily haiku, weekly unsolicited advice column “Yall Are Petty”, political essays, herbalist musings and tips, and more. There are also links to my instagram and other social media pages. Most of my content here will be in the form of writing.

I am always happy for opportunities to be published or paid for my writing. I am also interested in opportunities to present at events or conferences on subjects relating to: radical history, anarchism, know your rights, sustainability and old windows, food not bombs, women in construction, herbalism and ptsd, how to write prisoners, grassroots organizing, plant walks, etc.

My construction business is Karnage Creations LLC and we do restoration of historic windows. Find us online at Richmond Window Repair and get in touch if you need windows repaired or restored.

Another of my enterprises is The Heathen Homestead LLC, our herbal farm in Beaverdam, VA. You can see what products we are selling (all kinds of herbal goodies) and what markets we will be at here: The Heathen Homestead. Contact me for scheduling herbal consultations.

Anarchist Housekeeping: Collective Living Under Capitalism Accepting Submissions

Please repost/share this for us, we’d really like to get a diverse and well rounded amount of submissions!

“But who will do the dishes after the revolution?” This tired question has been asked to countless anarchists, communists, and others pursuing systemic change. But, we don’t have to wait for the rev to give an answer. Anarchist Housekeeping: Collective Living Under Capitalism is an attempt to cobble together the stories of anarchist collective living within the United States. The goal of this anthology is to share what it takes to build a successful collective, what works and what doesn’t, what you wish you knew, why you think collectives matter, and what we can take away from collective projects.
